HYBRID OPAL Slice sheet

It is an artificial opal sheet. (three pieces) 
It is 42 mm × 42 mm × 0.12 mm.
 
Resin was immersed in 80%
It is made of silica crystal 20%.
 
Processing can be done easily because it is almost a resin.
It is possible to cut with scissors, but it will crack on the way.
It is weak for folding and it easily breaks.
However, if you take advantage of this characteristic it is possible to work like a mother‐of‐pearl work.

If you want to avoid cracking, we recommend that you protect with a laminate film.
Then you can use scissors without breaking along the way.

As a reference I made something like a round cabochon, but the color of the back side is reflected because the clarity is very strong.
So we used black resin to prevent color escape.
By doing this you emit a very beautiful sparkle.

UV resins and other compatibility with resins are also good so please try.
 
Depending on the idea, I think that it can be used for various purposes.
